Since our inception we have completed over 75 transactions and listed several companies on the New York Stock Exchange. Unlike the traditional private equity fund, we invest capital on a deal by deal basis; this allows GLO & Co. to be extremely creative in structuring our transactions. While we are not a fund, GLO & Co has a cadre of capital sources that have invested alongside our firm for over 59 years in this manner. Equally important, we are not constrained by the traditional fund holding periods (normally three to five years) and we are able to hold onto our investments for an extensive period of time. This long-term approach enables GLO & Co. to build lasting relationships and create value that would not otherwise be attainable with the conventional short-term investing approach.
